ADOT to hold talk to discuss possible routes for Loop 202

Residents are encouraged to attend a public meeting tonight hosted by the Arizona Department of Transportation to discuss three locations being considering for the potential Loop 202 South Mountain Freeway to connect to Interstate 10 in the West Valley.

Each alternative would require I-10 improvements and widening. Homeowners and business can learn how the options would affect the surrounding areas.

The options are: Loop 101 connection, 71st Avenue connection or 55th Avenue connection.

The meeting starts with an open house from 5 to 8 p.m., with presentations at 6 and 7 p.m., at Santa Maria Middle School, 7250 W. Lower Buckeye Road, Phoenix.
