SR 87 (Duthie-Martin Highway) – New Four Peaks Road to Dos S Ranch Road Reconstruction and Erosion Control Project

ADOT will soon begin a reconstruction/widening and erosion control project on SR 87 between mileposts 204.3 and 213.0, approximately halfway between metro Phoenix and Payson. The project is designed to improve traffic flow by widening the roadway, repairing slopes and ditches, reinforcing embankments, and implementing modifications to meet state and federal standards.

The following project will require traffic restrictions on SR 87. Northbound SR 87 will be used as a two-way detour during construction on the southbound lanes. Daytime and nighttime construction activities are expected. Motorists may experience slowing and traffic delays, including temporary closures.

The project team will provide regular project updates via this website and email.  If you wish to receive regular updates via email, or would like to provide comments and feedback, please contact the Project Team at 602.787.3927 or email ADOT@hdrinc.com
