The Arizona Department of Transportation will enhance safety by making improvements to US 60 from Vulture Mine Road to Los Altos Drive. The project includes widening the highway to add a two-way left turn lane and construction of a multi-use path along the north side of the roadway. Other improvements include curb and gutter, driveway improvements, and drainage improvements.
What to expect:
- Construction is scheduled to begin by the end of February and is scheduled to be complete in late summer.
- Work hours will be from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.
- Motorists should expect lane restrictions throughout the course of the project. At least one lane in each direction will be open at all times.
